Sunrise Micro Devices’ mission is to develop a new generation of wireless IC technologies that will achieve both the cost and power goals needed to realize the full growth potential of the wireless personal area network (WPAN) market.

Sunrise Micro Devices, Inc. was founded in 2009 by a team with experience spanning decades in the semiconductor and communication industries. Concentrating on low-voltage CMOS design and efficient signaling protocols, technology developed at Sunrise Micro Devices not only reduces cost and power consumption of today's applications, it also complements new power sources such as printable batteries and energy harvesting devices, enabling many new applications.
