Sunrise Micro Devices believes there is an explosion coming in the world of wireless personal area networks (WPANs). WPANs are becoming ubiquitous in healthcare, shipping, warehousing, and "smart-grid" management, where they are used for sensing, control, location, tracking and identification. However, this is only a fraction of the enormous potential market once truly low-cost, low-power wireless nodes become available. At SMD, we believe we can make that happen.
