Dr. Ed Callaway elevated to IEEE Fellow
November 23, 2009 - Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the
IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for one of the
Institute’s most prestigious honors, elevation to IEEE Fellow. At its November
2009 meeting, the IEEE Board of Directors elevated the CTO of Sunrise Micro
Devices, Dr. Ed Callaway, to IEEE Fellow, effective 1 January 2010, with the
following citation: "for contributions to wireless sensor networks and low
power design techniques for communications devices and systems."
